At Moss Brook Church, we want kids to know about the God who created them, loves them, and is with them every day. Everything they experience in our kids’ classes helps to do just that. Currently, all children’s groups (except nursery) are using a curriculum called Answers in Genesis. This successive study takes children through the Bible in 4 years.
Children’s ministry available at 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
The safety and well-being of your children are a top priority here at Moss Brook. All of our team members in the Children’s Ministry have gone through a background check and we also use a computer check-in system for all groups. As an extra safety precaution, we lock the children’s wing until after the church service has ended. If for any reason you need to get your child early, please ask a Safety Team member to assist you.
When you arrive at church, look for the designated Kids Check-In area. There you will find a staff member or volunteer ready to answer any questions you may have, help get you checked in, and then direct your child to the right classroom. If you can, plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before church begins so you can drop off your kids in time to head into the main service before it starts. We can’t wait to meet you!
If you wish to save some time at the check-in counter, you can check-in before you arrive on Sunday!
Our nursery team is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for each young one placed in our care. Using play and purposeful interactions, we begin teaching each child about the fruit of the Spirit, just as Jesus displayed those characteristics to us: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5: 22-23). We are so thankful to share Jesus with your babies and toddlers!
In JAM JR, we are committed to giving young children a welcoming environment in which they can comfortably transition from nursery into a “big kid” classroom. We desire to make learning about God fun and understandable to developing minds so each child can build a relationship with Jesus, as well as with other children their age. You can expect a short, age-appropriate Bible lesson and an engaging activity to help build their faith.
From the moment the kids arrive, our JAM volunteers are ready to play and connect with your child. Your kiddos will start out in a time of worship, followed by learning a story from the Bible. Each Bible lesson is reinforced by a hands-on activity or craft.
Early elementary years are critical for development, and that’s why we seek to teach the Bible in creative ways, keeping in mind the attention spans of our younger crowd in Clubhouse Jr. Bible concepts and principles are illustrated and clarified using interactive and engaging activities.
Serving our upper-elementary kiddos, Clubhouse focuses on teaching truths directly from the Bible. Each lesson time will include developmentally appropriate discussion aimed at helping these maturing young minds to grow in their faith.

Treehouse Club is an after-school program for children ages 5yo-11yo on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-3:45 at Moss Brook Church. We provide a fun, safe atmosphere that allows children to interact with others their age and engage in a variety of activities including illustrative Bible lessons, high-energy games, hands-on crafts, yummy snacks, and prayer time. Our desire is to introduce each child to the truth of Scripture and inspire them to develop a life-long desire to know and follow Jesus. Any questions? Bloom is a gathering for girls, grades 4-6, with the primary purpose of learning and growing in faith through prayer, Bible study, serving the church and local community, crafts, and of course, fun! It is an opportunity for personal connections to form, friendships to bloom, and trust to be built among the girls. As leaders, we seek to be positive role models and to develop trustworthy and reliable relationships they can count on.
