The Problem Is You
Ever feel stuck or like you are doing the same thing over and over and over but not getting the result you want? You are looking around yourself wondering who is causing the problem, who is stopping you from succeeding.
You are! The problem is YOU!
Albert Einstein said it best “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” You need to get out of your rut, start working on things from a different point of view, ask someone who is smarter than you how they see it. Then get at it. Change. Mix it up. Force yourself to do things you wouldn’t normally do. Whenever we put ourselves in a different place we force ourselves to think through events from a different perspective. This changes our view which in turn changes the outcome. I know this sounds like hard work, not much fun and scary. It is! But the outcome is worth it. Every time I force myself outside my normal boundaries I grow, and every time I grow I become a better leader.
What do you need to think differently about today?
