Story of God

I like stories. How about you? I like stories about the impossible. I like stories about adventure. I like stories about people who struggle and succeed. I like stories that tell the process of change that has taken place in a person’s heart. But the story that I love, the story that always seems to grab my mind and quicken my heart is the story of God. Every time I read or even stop and think about the story of God’s incredible love for me, His willingness to put all on the line for me, the lengths He went to make a way so I could have a relationship with him, the price He was willing to pay so I could be redeemed, I am always in awe. How about you? What story gets you? What story can you never get over? Have you fallen in love with God’s love story? If you haven’t read it, give it a shot. John 3:16-18 will give you a brief picture. If you read it and are open to the truth of it, you can’t help but fall in love with the author, God. It is the only story that has the ability to completely change you. One of the greatest facts about this story is that you get to be part of it. Unlike most stories that are written after the events have happened, this story happened and is continuing to happen and you can be included in it.
