Refocus

I have been rereading one of my Radical Mentorship books called “I Declare War” by Levi Lusko. Great book. One of the thoughts that jumped out at me this time through was the need to “take a moment and refocus.” We do a lot of things repeatedly; they become just “what we do,” and because of that action of doing them over and over we tend to lose our focus; we lose sight of the “why” behind them.
Today you are going to do a large number of different events and most of them you will not give much thought to as you are doing them because you do them every day. Let me encourage you to take a moment and refocus on the “why” behind each one. Here are a few things that may happen for you. First, you may find some things that are stealing your time. Second, you may find some things that you are no longer really interested in. Third, you may find some important things that are not getting the time that they need and are starting to slide. Lastly, you may realize that you are completely missing out on some things that require your undivided attention. It is our personal responsibility to stay focused. No one can make us do it, nor can they do it for us. So taking some time on a regular basis to examine and redefine things can be extremely helpful. Don’t let a “little” distraction get you off course.
Remember, just a little refocus can save you a lot of wasted time and effort.
