Leading For Renewal

2 Cor 4:16
“Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day.” CSB

It is so easy to get our eyes focused on how difficult we think we have it, whether that be sickness, financial difficulties or relationships that seem to be going sideways. These things can consume us and have an adverse effect on our inner person, causing us to become bitter, angry and ungrateful for all God has done in us.
God wants us to view life from the the other side. Instead of seeing it from the outside in, He wants us to see life from the inside out. He wants our inner person to be renewed in Him every day so that He can give us a proper perspective on what is going on in our physical life.
As leaders in the kingdom of God it is our responsibility to continually turn the folks we are leading back to Christ, so their inner person can be renewed daily. Living life from a renewed heart brings growth in the people doing the work and God-honoring results in the ministries we are involved in.
Leaders, are you encouraging your team to be “renewed in their inner person daily”?
