FAIL

My mentor used to say to me, “Remember, it is never a sin to fail; it is only a sin to do less than your best.” You will fail. You should fail. If you aren’t failing that means you are not taking enough chances or trying enough new things. Failure helps you learn how to do things well. Remember, the last few weeks we have been talking about doing the little things, and hopefully by now you have or are trying some (if not, you should be). You may have failed at it. If not, you will. That is okay; don’t stop. Keep at it. We don’t learn things nor do them well the first few times we do them. It is by failing and trying again that we succeed. Maybe you find it embarrassing to fail. Remember, every person in the world, past, present and future, has, is, or will fail. You are in great company. The questions you need to start asking yourself are “What will you do with the failure?” and “How will you use those failures to your advantage?”
Put in the effort to learn from your failures. Make the changes. Keep notes. Try again. You will be happy you did.
